Joel Alberto Santana

Coordinator

I have a long and variegated job journal. I started at 14 to 17 years old working at a transmission shop installing, uninstalling, and repairing automatic transmissions. Then I moved on to an Internet café giving maintenance to computers and mixing dance music to DJ’s from Down Town Tijuana. After a little over a year I had the opportunity to work as a Quality Control Inspector at Sparkletts making sure all our reverse osmosis system was performing properly by checking every hour the conductivity, pH., chlorine presence into the water as doing bacteriology tests during the whole process. But I couldn’t finish my high school yet so decide to ask the company the opportunity to have either morning or evening shift since I was in charge of both shifts after the Chemist got her maternity benefit. But this was denied to me, they offer a certification by Danone Company. So I moved on to a production position in Raychem Technologies because I wanted to at least finish high school because certification was not going to in off and easy to get a stable job. After six months I became Quality Control for full time testing adhesive, peel and performance. I last about one year and a half at Raychem but at the same time I studied Industrial technical maintenance, which included the basics of welding, electricity, machinery, motors, transmissions, etc., Reason why my uncle offer me to work with him in his welding shop and teach me Artistic Welding doing metal doors, window protections etc. 1.2 years after In low season I apply to get an Inspector of Quality Control at SEGI. Now this was a window company for Mobile Homes. While working there I get my own tools and started my own welding business. But here, Low season affects badly for over 2 months. Reason why after about 2.5 years of working by myself, I decided to look for other options and now became a Technical Support for WI-Fi troubleshooting Internet connections in Mexico but providing support to a U.S.A. company. Yup, you guess it right did not last long there either. 1.5 years after, I move on to Club Marena. I was a receptionist there as well as helping to the Real Estate manager with the rents and sells, showing beautiful, luxury and fancy units by the ocean next door. This next part is the one that matters right? I find out about Sanoviv at Club Marena (neighbors). Well, I sent my curriculum as soon as I find out Sanoviv was looking for a coordinator after 3 years at Club Marena. And I find out of the opening in the newspapers. After 6 months of sending my info I was luckily hired. After all this job I got the best. I work at an awesome place with the best work environment. With beautiful ocean views, I’m able to get the best of the organic healthy meals. I have been helped by Chiropractors, Quiet Room, Doctors, my Boss, etc. And the best of all is that I’m able to watch how people gets better. I work at an awesome place with the best work environment.
