Dr. Mitzu Fajardo is a physician, clinical researcher, and healthcare leader dedicated to advancing evidence-based integrative medicine. She serves as Scientific Doctor at Sanoviv Medical Institute, where she leads clinical research initiatives, oversees research strategy, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate innovative therapies aimed at improving patient outcomes.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Panamericana, followed by a Master of Science degree from the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education at Ensenada (CICESE), where she developed a strong foundation in biomedical research and scientific methodology.
Early in her medical career, Dr. Mitzu Fajardo participated in cardiovascular epidemiology research and contributed to the Childhood Cancer Registry in Mexico. These experiences strengthened her conviction that high-quality clinical data and rigorous research are essential for advancing patient care and transforming medical practice.
At Sanoviv, Dr. Mitzu has played a key role in developing clinical research programs, patient registries, outcomes analysis, and collaborations with academic institutions and industry partners. Her work focuses on integrative oncology, functional medicine, lifestyle interventions, and the scientific evaluation of innovative therapeutic approaches that bridge conventional and complementary medicine.
In addition to her research leadership, she actively participates in clinical care, medical education, and the development of new clinical programs, always striving to translate scientific evidence into meaningful improvements in patient care.
