Cholesterol: The Most Misunderstood Molecule

This truth may be difficult for the average person to understand since conventional medicine, “nutrition experts,” and the media have unfairly demonized this natural, life-sustaining molecule. To fully understand the beauty of cholesterol, it is important to learn its function in the human body.
  • Cholesterol is a substance vital to our cells and is produced by almost every cell in the body. The liver produces most of the cholesterol in the blood.
  • Cholesterol is the body’s repair substance, nature’s way of repairing damage including tears and irritations in the arteries.
  • It is an essential component of all cell membranes. Without cholesterol our cells would not be able to communicate with each other or transport various molecules into and out of the cell. As a result, our bodies would lose critical functions.
  • Most of the body’s important hormones are made of cholesterol including those that regulate blood sugar, the stress response, and all the sex hormones (estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone).
  • The brain is the most cholesterol-rich organ in the body. The cholesterol synthesized in the brain is the primary component of the myelin that surrounds and protects each nerve cell and is vital to the function of the brain and nervous system. It plays a role in memory formation. Seniors with the highest cholesterol levels have the best memory function.
  • Cholesterol helps maintain the health and integrity of the intestinal wall.
  • Cholesterol is starting material from which our body makes vitamin D from sunlight.
  • Recent research shows that cholesterol acts as an antioxidant, which may explain why cholesterol increases with age.
  • The bile salts needed for the digestion of fats and the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins are made from cholesterol.
  • Cholesterol plays a role in the utilization of serotonin, the “feel good” brain chemical.
  • Cholesterol protects against infection. In fact, most gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases have an infectious origin. One 15-year study shows that those who had low cholesterol at the start of the study were admitted to the hospital more often due to an infectious disease.

 

Cholesterol deficiency, which is now more common due to the widespread prescription of statin medications, is a major factor in many chronic health disorders. In fact, low cholesterol is associated with depression, mood disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, high frequency of violent behavior and suicide, Parkinson’s disease, and cancer mortality. Low cholesterol can also lead to less production of thyroid hormone. Most significantly, the death rate is doubled in older adults with lower total cholesterol. So, do we really want to lower cholesterol? Total blood cholesterol levels between 200 and 240 mg/dl are normal and have always been normal. Within the broad range of cholesterol levels from 180 to 240 mg/dl there is little or no evidence that this alone correlates with heart disease. Seventy-five percent of people who have heart attacks have normal cholesterol levels.
Cholesterol levels can also vary widely. The same person can have different levels of cholesterol at different times of the day, in different seasons of the year (higher in winter, lower in the summer), and when we have an infection. Blood cholesterol can be elevated after dental treatment or surgery, and when under stress. It can become normal when we are relaxed and well. Depending on the time of day, weather, season, and our exposure to environmental agents, the damage to various tissues in the body also varies. Since cholesterol is a healing agent, the body produces cholesterol and sends it to the sites of damage, thus explaining the wide variations in blood cholesterol.  Cholesterol_2
So why the push to lower total cholesterol? Sixty years ago, a researcher named Ancel Keys, Ph.D. set us on the path to what has become known as the “lipid hypothesis,” which concludes that excess cholesterol is the cause of heart disease, and saturated fat was the villain that increased cholesterol in the blood. The problem with this belief is that it has never been proven (thus it is still called a “hypothesis”). According to cardiologist Steven Sinatra MD and nutritionist Johnny Bowden Ph.D., authors of the Great Cholesterol Myth, “a weird admixture of misinformation, scientifically questionable studies, corporate greed, and deceptive marketing has conspired to create one of the most indestructible and damaging myths in medical history: that cholesterol causes heart disease.” These authors believe “the real tragedy is that by putting all of our attention on cholesterol, we’ve virtually ignored the real causes of heart disease: inflammation, oxidation, sugar and stress.”
In 1991, Linus Pauling presented the Unified Theory of Human Cardiovascular Disease, which rests on the premise that the body creates cholesterol buildup as a back-up solution for preventing damaged blood vessels from hemorrhaging. This theory supports supplementation with enough vitamin C, L-lysine, and L-proline, so the body will opt to use these molecules to repair damaged blood vessels instead of producing excess cholesterol. More than 650 documented studies show that coronary artery disease is a form of scurvy that occurs when the body is deficient in vitamin C and subsequently the collagen that is made in the presence of adequate levels of vitamin C.
In reviewing all that has been written about cholesterol over the years, the following quote from the late Oxford professor, David Horrobin, can prompt some profound thought; “Reducing cholesterol in the population on a large scale could lead to a general shift to more violent patterns of behavior.” Remember, cholesterol is in nature and in our bodies for a reason. Understand its role and recognize its beauty.

Joint pain is no fun and can keep you from enjoying an active lifestyle. It is possible to eat your way to healthy joints and decrease inflammation and joint pain. Your joints, much like your body, require nutrients in order to repair and keep cells, ligaments, muscles and cartilage healthy. So investigate what you are putting on your fork and get ready to eat your way to healthier joints.

 

Go raw! Okay, you do not have to become a raw food activist in order to eat healthier. You do however, want to increase your daily intake of raw veggies as they are loaded with enzymes that can help break down nutrients in your food so that they can be used by your body.

 

Essential fatty acids found in nuts and seeds and their oil along with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) found in cold water fish is a must for well-lubricated healthy joints. Fatty acids can reduce swelling and discomfort in joints as well provide proper lubrication.

 

Foods such as nuts, seeds, salmon, sardines and vegetables such as cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and other green veggies such as collard and turnip greens, spinach, kale and green beans are an excellent source of essential fatty acids.

 

Good collagen production is essential to joint health. Collagen is a naturally occurring fibrous protein made up of amino acids found in bones, muscles, body tissues, tendons and cartilage.Collagen comprises approximately one quarter of all of the protein in your body.  Collagen is important in avoiding osteoarthritis. One of the first indications of osteoarthritis development is the loss or breakdown of collagen.

 

Eating protein-rich foods can help boost collagen production because they are good sources of amino acids. Look for quality pasture and humane raised animal sources. Vegetable protein sources include nuts, seeds, legumes beans and some grains such as quinoa.

 

Quercetin is an antioxidant flavonoid compound that is a natural anti-inflammatory.  Apples, red or black grapes, blueberries, blackberries, cherries and green teas are rich in quercetin.

 

Although you can eat your way to better joint health sometimes the food you choose could be the culprit to your pain. Even worse, if you are experiencing intestinal permeability (or leaky gut) this may lead to unexplained joint pain. Take for instance gluten. Most humans lack the enzymes to completely break down gluten; at best it is only partially digested. If this happens it can lead to undigested peptides instigating inflammation. If there is any intestinal permeability undigested fragments can seep through and over time may lead to increased inflammation in weak areas, in this case the joints.

 

At Sanoviv Medical Institute we use advanced testing for when it comes to gluten. We use the Array 3 Antibody Wheat and Gluten Proteome Reactivity and AutoimmunityTM test. With this test we are able to measure antibody production against 9 wheat proteins and peptides and 3 essential structure enzymes. Any of these antigens has the capacity to challenge the immune system even when there are no digestive symptoms present.  In other words, most think of gluten as causing digestive problems. Not so. Gluten can affect the brain, skin and immune system.

 

At Sanoviv we also advise if testing for the Array 3 to also test with the Array 4 Antibody Gluten-Associated Cross Reactive Foods and Food SensitivityTM test. Sometimes removing gluten may not be enough to healthy joints and other body complaints. This is where the Array 4 may help.

 

Most countries define gluten-free products based on the recommendation of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations and World Health Organization. This codex alimentarius allows the inclusion of up to 0.3% protein from gluten containing grains in foods labeled gluten-free.  If the sensitive body is exposed to 0.3% protein, the immune system will recognize and react to the protein.[1] The Array 4 tests for 27 foods (including healthy foods) that may be an underlying culprit to true health and wellness. The Array 4 can assist by detecting both sensitivities and cross-reactions that may possibly allow for a possible continued gluten-like reaction.  In other words, if you have gotten off of gluten and you are still having symptoms it could be something you are consuming that is causing the inflammatory response to continue and aggravate.

Continually Fan the Flames of your Intention

When it comes to getting results with your health thought and action are necessary. A thought can inspire, “what if?” Analysis of the thought leads to “I wonder.” This in turn, both physically motivates you to act and allows for the manifestation of the thought. But, sometimes your little voice takes over and talks you out of acting on a potentially great idea.

Thoughts are inspirations that with the right mindset can manifest into physical goals. Every year we make a conscious decision to elevate our business, or become better at something, or to achieve better health.
What are your thoughts surrounding the accomplishment of your goal? Are they positive burning desires that motivate you to stay focused? Or, are they thoughts of never amounting to anything? Followed by, a self-unworthiness perception of “why bother as it will just be like everything else; nothing ever goes my way.”
You have the power to take your thoughts and allow them to become your motivational tool to succeed in all of your goals and desires. You have the power to elevate your goals and aspirations. Take your thoughts and make them so. It is that easy.

Here at Sanoviv Medical Institute we have many medical programs that include a visit with the psychology department. We do this purposefully because our mind body and soul are connected. If the doctors are working physically to make a person well but that person does not believe they are worthy of wellness, or are in fear of wellness, or doesn’t believe they can heal; those thoughts become more powerful than the medicine.
Do you have a health intention? Revisit your goal. Where are you at with the goal? Take your goal of health and turn it into an intention and make the intention your primary focus. Write out what it is that you need to allow for this intention to be achieved. Do not hold back; write out what it will take, even if you do not have the resources (such as the financial well being) currently to believe that it could be possible. To make it simpler, if you could wave a magic wand to grant your wish what would it be and what do you need?
A thought does not allow for the physical constraints of “can’t”. What we think, we have the ability to manifest physically. Our vibrational energy synchs with the energy of the resources we need to make it so.

If this has not happened for you yet take a look at how you are feeling towards this intentional goal. What are your thoughts? Are they positive or negative? Do you have faith to put your need, want or desire out to the Universe and know that it will be taken care of? Or is your little voice thinking through all the items keeping you from this goal?
The law of the Universe is to provide what we need if we feel we are worthy of that desire, passion or goal. It is quite simple, and yet we make it so difficult. It is a leap of faith to put trust into what we cannot see. If you allow the Universe to act upon your intention, the messages will come, but it is up to you to allow yourself to see the messages. To allow the connection you must clear your thoughts of all physical constrains and make yourself open and ready to receive Universal messages that will bring you what you need to accomplish your goal.

Our body, mind and spirit follow natural spiritual law. We need to connect with our earth in order to become grounded and connected with the present moment. Being grounded allows you to become spiritually connected to the Universal vibration and allows for intention.

How you become grounded is by walking barefoot on Mother Earth. Here at Sanoviv we have beautiful luscious green grass and you will see many people walking barefoot in the grass. We actually hold classes where you walk barefoot in the grass to ground your energy and well being.
Take a walk barefoot in the sand, dirt or grass. Hike into the woods or desert and become aware of the stillness. Listen to the breeze, smell the air and be grateful for the connection. Connecting with nature allows for realignment of your intentions and your desire.

When you feel your goal slipping away you have two choices, either refuel with positive intention, or give up. But before you give up ask yourself this, “How has giving up worked for me in the past? Did it help me to ascertain my goals, aspirations and desires?” The answer will be no every time. We cannot make conscious intention and then expect it to arrive on our threshold the next day especially with negative thoughts or feeling unworthy of the goal. It takes time and when the time, space and sequence are right, it will manifest.

You have the choice to allow your surroundings to physically and spiritually affect your flow of intention. They can continually fan the flames of your goals and desires. We are all faced with situations, critical moments and physical blocks that may hindered our goals. Do not allow this to break the connection of your intentions. Keep in mind they too are a moment in time and shall soon pass. Keep your intention and passion every day, feel the emotions of your goal. Take me- time, down time, laugh, have fun and refuel and connect with your higher vibration. The intention lies within you to make it so. When you reach your goal, repeat this process and make it so.

Gluten Free – Ginger Snacaroons

Gluten Free – Ginger Snacaroons

Makes 35-40 yummy treats!

3 tbsp fresh grated organic ginger
4 cups organic coconut shreds or flakes
2 large organic cage free eggs (beaten) or 4 organic egg whites
½  cup xylitol or 4 tbsp raw honey
Parchment paper

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Place beaten eggs, ginger and sweetener in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Slowly add the coconut and mix thoroughly.

Using an ice cream scoop, drop cookies on to parchment-paper-lined baking sheets and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on the outside.

Let them cool completely before storing.

We use different therapeutic interventions to enhance your body’s ability to destroy cancer cells, while respecting the integrity of normal, healthy cells. Regional hyperthermia is an example of an anti-cancer therapy which is a key part of our treatment.

Regional hyperthermia is used to heat up tumor material causing its metabolism to break down. Tumors do not tolerate temperatures over 41° centigrade(105.8 degrees Fahrenheit).

The last of the lilacs fragrance waft in the cool, late-spring air, the tulips are withering away and jasmine fills the night. The lazy-filled days of summer, which include barbeques, picnics and beach day get-togethers, are finally here. Food is an integral component of our summertime activities.

Here are 3 strategies to eat healthy and still enjoy all of summer’s privileges.

Barbeque Essentials

Meat is the bulk of summer food consumption.  The average American consumes 250 pounds of meat each year.  Whether scarfing down a frankfurter at the ball game or cooking them up on the barbeque, look for all beef hotdogs that are sodium nitrite and nitrate free.  Nitrites, nitrates (sodium nitrites, sodium nitrates) are what give chicken and beef hotdogs, luncheon and deli meats, as well as bacon and ham, their pink color and, to some extent, their flavoring. They are also preservatives and antimicrobial agents which serve to cure meats. There are numerous studies which question the safeness of these preservatives. Nitrites mix with stomach gastric juices and convert to nitrosamines which, some studies have linked to an increase in gastrointestinal cancers. Not to put a damper on a summer fling, choose nitrite and nitrate free luncheon meats and hotdogs to help you prepare the healthiest summertime barbeque.

Condiments

A picnic or a barbeque is not complete without condiments. Ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and relish are the top condiments of choice to complement the summer chef’s array of food. Use organic condiments as they will be free of most harmful preservatives. Most importantly, they will not contain high fructose corn syrup.  High fructose corn syrup is a well known, and not very well understood, ingredient. Researchers are continuously debating its safety. Here is what we do know; high fructose corn syrup is metabolized differently than sugar and consumption in high amounts presents certain metabolic and hormonal affects that lead to fat storage and weight gain. Look for condiments that are free from high fructose corn syrup, artificial ingredients, dyes and preservatives such as BHT and sulfites.

Drinks

Hydration is important year-round, but extremely importantly during the summer months. Water is by far the number one choice for hydration. Water lubricates your joints, helps you think clearly and gives you energy to participate in summertime activities. When indulging in other summer-favorite beverages such as ice tea, opt to make your own. When I was growing up, summer meant glass pitchers of iced tea and sliced lemons sitting out in the sun on our back porch. I could not wait to quench my thirst with my Mum’s homemade ice tea with a hint of honey sweetness. Brewing your own beverage allows you to control sweetness with quality sweeteners such as stevia or raw honey.  Avoid sugary drinks and colas as much as possible. Not only do they lack nutritional value, the caffeine causes dehydration and there are too many conflicting reports about the safety of Aspartame and Nutrasweet. There are many natural and chemical free alternatives to conventional sugar-filled, chemical-laden sodas such as Virgil and Blue Sky.

Having a natural soda or a homemade iced tea are OK once in a while however, it is better to stick to water and you can have some fun with the help of fresh fruit. You can make your own flavoured water with fruit, herbs and a glass jug. Take any fruit and some herbs like berries and mint; add to a jug of water and let it sit over night. The flavours will merry with water and infuse the yumminess into the water. You can lightly mash the fruit the next day to add even more flavor.

We all look forward to summer time fun. Making wise choices means you can still eat what you want but better. It is not about taking away the bad foods, it is about upgrading to better quality foods. Choose non genetically modified fed meat, poultry and eggs that were humanely and pastured raised so that, you can take in the most nutrients to run your body properly. Not to mention feeling good knowing that an animal did not suffer. And, there are no added hormones and antibiotics being served at your summer time feast.

When it comes to condiments choose organic so that there will be no hidden worries. You do not need food coloring, additives or preservatives on your food.

Upgrade sugar and chemically laden sodas and teas for either homemade versions or organic versions with better quality ingredients. Water of course is the best hydration so be sure to drink plenty.

GATHERING AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA.

 
AMAREVITA gathers Personal Data when you fill a contact form online, request a medical consultation, or communicate with an admissions representative. When you do so, AMAREVITA gathers the following personal data: full name, nickname, gender, date of birth, full address, occupation, phone numbers contact, skype account, e-mail address, payment information, marital status, language, clothing size, transportation or travel information, name, phone and relationship of a person to contact in case of emergency, as well as information about how you heard about AMAREVITA. Likewise, AMAREVITA gathers the following sensitive personal data:: race, religious preferences, summary of medical history, health status, medical diagnoses, medical tests, medical treatment history, physical status, mental illness history, mental status (including whether or not you have ever been hospitalized for mental or emotional problems), allergies, dietary needs, infectious illnesses, and your exposure to current or past use of medications or supplements, including use of alcohol, tobacco or drugs, and family medical history.
 
When you have medical consultations and answer questions about your medical history, we save all your answers in Promedicis (our electronic health record system). If you provide copies of medical records, they may be stored electronically, on paper, or in another media format.
 
AMAREVITA uses, manages and stores your Personal Data. This use of your Personal Data is intended for the following purposes: (I) To fulfill your request for health services, (II) To provide medical advice; (III) To contact you after departure for follow up; (IV) To inform you about special, events, and new products, (V) To create your Medical Records and process them in compliance with health regulations, (VI) for statistical and internal reporting, and (VII) To issue charges to your bank card when applicable.
 
The purposes indicated on the Subsections (I), (II), (III), (V), (VI) and (VII) are those which give origin and are necessary for the existence, maintaining and compliance regarding the relationship between you and AMAREVITA.
 
The purpose indicated in Subsection (IV) is for merchandising, publicity and commercial prospection.
 

AUTHORIZATION, TRANSFER AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

By signing this document, whether by hand, electronic signature, or authorization granted by any other authentication mechanism implemented by the Responsible for such effect, in compliance with article 9 of the Law, you authorize AMAREVITA to gather, store, process, and transfer your Personal Data only to affiliated organizations of the medical industry or sector, for purposes strictly necessary for your medical care. AMAREVITA may send your Personal Data to third parties only when (I) We have your consent thereon, (II) They are essential for the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of any medical condition or delivery of health services and you are unable to grant the consent due to a medical condition, as established by the Health regulations and other applicable legal provisions, and that such data processing is performed by a person subject to professional security or equivalent obligation, or (III) By a court order or administrative authority order.

 

In accordance with Mexican law, we maintain an official medical file in Spanish for each patient admitted to AMAREVITA. This official document may not be released to the patient, or any other parties, unless required by a court order, or from administrative authority, in the jurisdiction of Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, Estados Unidos Mexicanos. Patients may have access to medical test results, doctor discharge notes, and doctor recommendations, but they may not have access to the full official medical file.

 

UPDATES, ACCESS, AND PREFERENCES

RECOPILACIÓN Y USO DE LOS DATOS PERSONALES.

 

AMAREVITA recopila de Usted Datos Personales cuando usted llena un formulario de contacto en línea, solicita una consulta médica o se comunica con un representante de admisiones. Cuando lo hace, AMAREVITA recopila de usted Datos Personales generales consistentes en; nombre completo, sobrenombre, genero, fecha de nacimiento, domicilio completo, ocupación, números telefónicos de contacto, cuenta de Skype, dirección de correo electrónico, información de medios de pago, estado civil, idioma, talla de vestimenta, información relevante de transportación o viaje, nombre, datos de contacto y tipo de relación con terceras personas que puedan ser contactadas en caso de emergencia, e información sobre como escucho de AMAREVITA. Asimismo, AMAREVITA recopila de usted datos personales sensibles, consistentes en: raza, preferencias religiosas, resumen de historial médico, estado de salud actual, diagnósticos médicos, exámenes médicos, historial de tratamientos médicos, estado físico, historial médico sobre enfermedades mentales, estado mental (incluyendo si usted ha sido o no hospitalizado por problemas mentales o emocionales), alergias, necesidades dietéticas, enfermedades infecciosas, y su exposición a las mismas, uso de medicamentos o suplementos, incluyendo la ingesta de alcohol, tabaco, o alguna droga, y el historial médico de su familia.

 

Cuando tiene consultas médicas y responde preguntas sobre su historial médico, guardamos todas sus respuestas en Promedicis (nuestro sistema de registro de salud electrónico). Si usted provee copias de registros médicos, estos pueden ser guardados electrónicamente, en papel, o en cualquier otro formato.

 

AMAREVITA utiliza, gestiona y almacena sus Datos Personales. Este uso de sus Datos Personales está destinado a los siguientes propósitos: (I) Cumplir con su solicitud de servicios de salud, (II) Proporcionar asesoramiento médico; (III) Ponerse en contacto con usted después de su partida para el seguimiento; (IV) Para informarle sobre eventos especiales y nuevos productos, (V) Crear su Registro Médico y procesarlos de acuerdo con las regulaciones de salud, (VI) Para reportes estadísticos e internos, y (VII) Emitir cargos a su Tarjeta bancaria cuando sea aplicable.

 

Las finalidades indicadas en los incisos (I), (II), (III), (V), (VI) y (VII) anteriores, son aquellas que dan origen y son necesarias para la existencia, mantenimiento y cumplimento de la relación jurídica entre Usted y AMAREVITA.

 

La finalidad indicada en el inciso (IV) es aquella utilizada para fines mercadológicos, de publicidad y prospección comercial.

 

AUTORIZACION, TRANSFERENCIA Y DIVULGACION DE INFORMACION PERSONAL.

 

Al firmar este documento; ya sea a mano, con firma electrónica o autorización otorgada por cualquier otro mecanismo de identidad implementado por el Responsable, para tal efecto de conformidad con el artículo 9 de la Ley; autoriza a AMAREVITA a recopilar, almacenar, procesar y transferir sus Datos Personales sólo a organizaciones afiliadas de la industria y sector médico para fines estrictamente necesarios para su atención médica. AMAREVITA podrá enviar sus Datos Personales a terceros solamente cuando; (I) Tengamos su consentimiento al respecto, (II) Sean esenciales para la prevención, diagnóstico o tratamiento de cualquier condición médica o prestación de servicios de salud y Usted no pueda otorgarnos el consentimiento debido a alguna condición m&emedica;dica, de acuerdo a lo establecido en los reglamentos de salud y otras disposiciones legales aplicables, y que dicho procesamiento de datos sea realizado por una persona con garantía profesional o equivalente, y (III) Por Orden judicial o de Autoridad Administrativa.

 

De acuerdo a las leyes mexicanas, nosotros guardamos un archivo médico oficial en español para cada paciente admitido a AMAREVITA. Este documento oficial no puede ser entregado al paciente, o a terceros, al menos que sea requerido por una orden judicial, u otra autoridad administrativa, en la jurisdicción de Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, Estados Unidos Mexicanos. Los pacientes tienen acceso a los resultados de sus exámenes médicos, el alta del médico y las recomendaciones del médico, pero no tienen acceso al archivo médico completo oficial.

 

ACTUALIZACIONES, ACCESO Y PREFERENCIAS.

 

De acuerdo con las disposiciones de la Ley, Usted tiene el derecho de solicitar el Acceso a; Actualizar (cuando sea inexacto o incorrecto), Cancelar (si procede) sus Datos Personales proporcionados a AMAREVITA, Oponerse al procesamiento de sus Datos Personales, o Revocar el consentimiento otorgado de acuerdo con los mecanismos previstos por la Ley y que AMAREVITA ha implementado, en cuyo caso le pedimos que se comunique con el responsable de AMAREVITA por teléfono, por correo electrónico o por escrito como se indica a continuación:

Una vez realizada la solicitud, AMAREVITA emitirá una respuesta por escrito, en los términos previstos por la Ley, y en caso de que no responda, o si la respuesta no es satisfactoria, usted tiene derecho a acudir ante el Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales a solicitar su intervención. Asimismo, tenga en cuenta que las solicitudes de supresión, modificación o acceso a los registros médicos o clínicos no pueden llevarse a cabo de conformidad con las disposiciones de la Ley de Salud porque AMAREVITA está obligado a mantener estos registros activos en nuestra base de datos durante el plazo previsto por la Ley de Salud, para ese propósito AMAREVITA le permitirá actualizar su información personal, sin incluir los registros médicos, incluyendo, si desea; que AMAREVITA se comunique con usted acerca de los servicios y las nuevas ofertas.

 

SEGURIDAD

 

AMAREVITA, de acuerdo con la Ley, establecerá y mantendrá estrategias administrativas, técnicas y físicas apropiadas diseñadas para proteger sus Datos Personales contra daños, pérdida, alteración, destrucción o acceso no autorizado. Para proteger sus Datos Personales, así como nuestros registros médicos y clínicos, hemos implementado un sistema que proporciona acceso sólo a usuarios y procesadores con contraseñas y credenciales válidas.

 

CAMBIOS A ESTE AVISO DE PRIVACIDAD.

 

AMAREVITA puede reformar el aviso de privacidad política de tiempo en tiempo. Si realizamos cambios sustanciales en la forma en que utilizamos sus Datos Personales, le notificaremos publicando un anuncio en nuestra página de internet, así como una notificación por correo electrónico a la dirección de correo electrónico que usted nos proporcionó.
