Colorful veggies galore in the Sanoviv kitchen.

We really love this post from What’s Up USANA on 10 Hunger Slaying Super Foods.  Way to go, Melissa Fields!

Here are a couple of recipes to complement the information:

Kale chips

Preheat oven to 350.

Chop or tear kale into pieces about the size of your palm, discarding the tough stem (compost it or use for flavoring in broth).

Place kale on an ungreased cookie sheet, lightly sprinkle olive oil over the leaves, add a dash of sea salt and garlic powder, stir to coat.

Bake for about 15 minutes or until crispy.

Easy, healthy Waldorf salad

Chop apples, nuts (pecans, walnuts, Brazil nuts, and almonds all work well), red grapes.

Mix plain, Greek-style yogurt with honey (1 c yogurt: 1 tbs honey)

Toss together.

Great as a side dish, pita stuffer on its own or with organic turkey, or roll up into a piece of kale secured with a toothpick.  Enjoy!
